The INTERREG MAC Skilling project takes a key strategic step in its roadmap with the launch of TALENTO MAC Skilling. This new digital platform is born with the firm purpose of becoming the bridge between regional talent and the business community within six priority economic sectors: agri-food, audiovisual, construction, blue economy, ICT and tourism.
The tool responds to a real need identified in today’s labour market: to efficiently align professional training with the demands of the productive sector across an interregional and cross-border geographical area encompassing the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Mauritania and Côte d’Ivoire. To reflect this international nature, the portal is fully available in four languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
A comprehensive ecosystem in a single virtual space
TALENTO MAC Skilling has been designed to centralise high-value strategic resources, bringing together the following features in a single accessible interface:
- Sector-specific job board: job listings classified specifically by the strategic sectors of each of the participating regions.
- Up-to-date training catalogue: a directory of professional development programmes, including micro-credentials and completely free online courses.
- Professions Observatory: an analytical space featuring resources, current news, events and market studies to monitor labour market developments.
- Grants and incentives: centralised, constantly updated information on subsidies and financial support available for recruitment.
- Regional directory of organisations: a dynamic digital showcase of active and leading companies operating within the project’s territory.
Three-way benefits: professionals, educational institutions and businesses
The platform’s key differentiating value is that it offers personalised tools and features tailored to each user’s profile, fostering a collaborative ecosystem:
- For professionals and active jobseekers: the portal allows users to stay up to date with the latest vacancies and training opportunities, engage with content through social features, and subscribe to a newsletter to receive updates directly.
- For training centres: it offers a highly visible window to publish and promote training programmes aligned with future trends. It also allows them to study market demands through the Observatory and access information on recruitment incentives.
- For businesses: companies can post job offers to attract active candidates in the region, add their brand to the regional directory, analyse the most sought-after professional profiles, and browse specialised training programmes to upskill their own teams.
Open cooperation and community participation
With the aim of keeping the platform active and constantly updated, the project invites all stakeholders to collaborate actively by sharing relevant information from their respective regions (events, analyses, sector news) to enrich the Professions Observatory. Content proposals can be sent directly to the institutional email address: talento@macskilling.eu.
The MAC Skilling management team encourages the entire educational community, students, graduates, businesses and partner organisations to register, explore the portal and participate actively.
