Our project

Context

The acceleration of innovation in various sectors has led to improved business competitiveness. These changes have transformed the way we work, generating new needs for qualified personnel, and requiring new professional profiles with updated skills and competencies. However, the rapid evolution of the labor market has not allowed vocational training to adapt quickly enough, creating a gap between professional preparation and qualifications and the real needs of companies. This situation has resulted in difficulties in finding new jobs, while companies face obstacles in implementing innovative changes due to a lack of adequately trained personnel capable of adapting to new processes.

Objectives

The overall objective of the project is to optimize employability and competitiveness in the labor market by effectively aligning the professional skills of employees and job seekers with the specific needs of strategic sectors. This will be achieved by adapting training offerings, promoting entrepreneurship in innovative sectors, and ensuring the flexibility and adaptability of policies supporting education and training for employment. The goal is to develop a highly competent and adaptable workforce that contributes to sustainable growth, fosters innovation, drives digital transformation, and increases business competitiveness. The project also seeks to offer quality learning opportunities for young people and adults, facilitating professional development, especially for individuals and groups facing difficulties in finding employment.

Activities

The activities are related to the specific objectives and facilitate their execution:

Bridging the gap between workers' skills and competencies and the current and future needs of the labor market

Activity 1.1 Analyze the gaps between the skills and competencies of workers and job seekers and the needs of the labor market

Activity 1.2 Develop methodologies and tools to promote training in areas with high business potential and interest

Activity 1.3 Develop a training and improvement program for the management and services provided by business clusters and associations

Promote entrepreneurship based on innovation, digital transformation, and business sustainability through training activities, experience sharing, and open innovation

Activity 2.1 Analyze, design and implement a training program for trainers in entrepreneurship.

Activity 2.2 Design and implementation of an open innovation program

Improve employment training policies and programs. Identify good practices, exchange international experiences, and promote communication mechanisms between the relevant employment training entities and the business sector

Activity 3.1 International analysis of initiatives aimed at aligning training programs with the needs of companies

Activity 3.2 Develop a program for joint work between entities responsible for implementing employment policies and the ecosystem

Activity 3.3 Design a microcredential program
